M. Umit Ugurlu

M. Umit Ugurlu is working as full-time professor of surgery in Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul. He works as breast and endocrine surgeon in management of breast and endocrine disorders. He completed breast and endocrine fellowships at Haukeland Hospital, Norway and Karolinska Institute, Sweden. He has more than 100 national and international articles and many national awards. He completed UEMS requirements and received degree of FEBS for breast surgery in 2012 and FEBS for endocrine surgery in 2014. Prof. Ugurlu is director of the Marmara University Hospital Breast and Endocrine surgery unit, which is a member of Breast Cancer Network and coordinator of BRESO breast fellowship program in his university. He is also working in steering committees of international trials and as principal investigator of national clinical trials.
