Mr. Dorin Dumitru

Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust,United Kingdom. He was trained in highly prestigious oncoplastic fellowships at Guy’s, Winchester, Addenbrooke’s(Cambridge) and Royal Marsden Hospitals and two international attachments in Milan and New York that provided in depth insight into health economics.

He achieved a Master of Surgery in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery from EUA, Norwich, with merit, a Postgraduate Certificate in Breast Cosmetic Surgery and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (University of York).   He is involved in teaching, as a senior lecturer at Hull York Medical School. He is also involved in regional and national postgraduate teaching courses and a faculty member for the malignant breast module, MS oncoplastic breast, UEA and the Advanced Skills in Breast Disease Management Course.He is actively involved in the international forum, ABS and faculty member for the Breast Surgery. He is the author of several publications and book chapters in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery.

He is also involved in several clinical research projects, and I am principal investigator for Pre-Dx and EndoNET trials.
